The Nature Pathwayay of the river Muga follows the course of the Muga river and connects different Nature Parks within the province of Girona, such as the Area of Natural Interest (EIN) of the Alta Garrotxa, the EIN de Les Salines, the EIN dels Penya-Segats de la Muga and the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park. On its way, thus connecting the Pyrenees with the Mediterranean Sea.
Along approximately 40 kilometers, the Pathway crosses the commumities of Sant Llorenç de la Muga, Terrades, Boadella and Escaules, Pont de Molins, Cabanes, Peralada and Castelló d'Empúries-Empuriabrava. It allows you to practice activities such as fishing, cycling, hiking or horse riding.
